ABOUT THE SESSION
It’s time to line up the contestants. GenAI features in Model-driven Apps are arriving fast, and not all of them are equally ready for the stage. Some are polished, confident, and ready for real users. Others are still practicing their walk backstage.
New capabilities keep appearing: Smart Paste, Agent Feed, prompt columns and more quietly entering preview. For architects and makers, this can start to feel like whack-a-mole. By the time you’ve understood one feature, three more have appeared, each promising to be “transformative”.
So the obvious question is: are these features being added because AI is the buzzword of the year, or because they actually solve real problems in real Model-driven Apps? And if they do make sense, when should you use them, and when should you absolutely not?
In this session, Sara and Robin put the GenAI capabilities in Model-driven Apps through a structured beauty contest format. Each feature, from Smart Paste to Agent Feed, is evaluated using the same criteria: what problem it claims to solve, how it behaves in practice, and whether it delivers substance beyond a good demo.
Through live demos and concrete scenarios, we’ll judge real-world usability and business impact, with honest commentary, scorecards, and just enough pageant drama to keep things interesting. The goal is to give architects and makers a clear, grounded understanding of which GenAI features are ready for production, which ones are promising but immature, and how to make deliberate choices instead of playing feature roulette as we head into 2026.
At the end, the audience helps decide who takes home the GenAI crown and who walks off stage promising to work on themselves for next year.
