ABOUT THE SESSION
A practical guide to embedding AI into governed workflows using Agent Flows and Azure.
AI agents are becoming a common part of Power Platform solutions, but not every scenario calls for a conversational interface or autonomous behavior. In many real-world cases, AI creates the most value when it is embedded directly into existing business processes as structured decision support.
This session explores Agent Flows as a practical, low-code way to apply AI inside business processes and shows how they can be combined with Azure Logic Apps agent loops when more control or customization is required. Instead of focusing on chat experiences, the session demonstrates how AI can structure information, guide analysis, and propose next steps while keeping people fully in control.
We will demonstrate a solution built with a hybrid development approach that combines low-code Power Platform capabilities with pro-code AI workflows in Azure. The session is based on a real injury analysis solution that uses AI to improve investigation quality and consistency without replacing expert judgment or introducing a parallel process.
What you will learn
-
Understand what Agent Flows are and how to determine when they are the right design choice
-
Discover how low-code Agent Flows and Azure Logic Apps agent loops can work together in a single solution
-
Learn how a real-world, multi-flow AI solution is structured end-to-end
-
Understand when a hybrid low-code/pro-code approach is appropriate and what it means for makers and developers
-
Gain practical guidance on designing human-in-the-loop AI solutions with governance and oversight in mind
You will gain an understanding of the architectural decisions, trade-offs, and lessons learned from implementing and operating the solution in practice, including design choices that will be discussed and evaluated during the session. The session will help Power Platform makers expand their toolbox by highlighting embedded, workflow-based AI patterns that are often overlooked, and by providing guidance on when these approaches are appropriate alongside conversational agents.
Designed for builders of AI solutions
This session is intended for Power Platform makers and developers, as well as agent builders working on AI-enabled business processes and AI architecture, with an understanding of agents and workflows at the 200–300 level. If you are designing or planning AI solutions and want to grow your practical knowledge, this session will help you make better architectural choices.
