Introduction
ESPC is part of QualTech Ltd and is based in Galway, Ireland. QualTech has more than 30 years of experience in organising leading European IT conferences.
We organise three leading Microsoft technologies conferences:
ESPC – Europe’s premier conference dedicated to Microsoft 365 and AI.
European Power Platform Conference – Europe’s largest dedicated conference for Microsoft Power Platform.
European Microsoft Fabric + SQL Community Conference – The largest gathering of data professionals in Europe, focused on Microsoft Fabric and SQL.
Our mission is to help professionals achieve success through learning, networking, and discovery. Every year, we welcome thousands of attendees from around the world to our in-person conferences.

2011
Year One… Berlin
The first European SharePoint Conference was held in 2011 in Berlin, Germany. The conference was founded to provide a dedicated European platform for discussing SharePoint and related Microsoft technologies.
2015
Introducing Office 365 & Azure
By 2015, the ESPC had moved to larger cities such as Copenhagen and Stockholm, and the scope of the event began including other tools in the Microsoft ecosystem like Office 365 and Azure.
2016-2019
Digital Transformation & Cloud Adoption
The mid-2010s marked a period of rapid innovation for Microsoft, particularly with the introduction of Office 365 and greater emphasis on cloud-based solutions like Azure. ESPC conferences during this time shifted focus from purely on-premises SharePoint solutions to cloud and hybrid models, reflecting the industry’s trend towards digital transformation and cloud adoption.
2020–2021
ESPC20_OnLine
Like many global events, ESPC had to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 conference, which was scheduled to take place in Amsterdam, was cancelled, and the event transitioned to a virtual format. The focus remained on remote collaboration, with a heavy emphasis on Microsoft Teams and the evolving role of SharePoint in a more distributed workforce.
2022
Power Up!
ESPC returned to an in-person format, hosting the event in Copenhagen. Key themes now focus on digital workplaces, low-code/no-code development, automation, and AI within the Microsoft ecosystem. We also launched the European Power Platform Conference (EPPC) with the very first conference taking place in Brussels
2023-2025
Microsoft Fabric
While ESPC and EPPC continued to grow and travel around Europe, we decided to launch a conference for Data professionals. In 2024, we launched the European Microsoft Fabric Community Conference in partnership with Microsoft.
